Greg Barton is a lifelong resident of Douglas County and has been practicing law since 1999. He has served as an Assistant District Attorney in both Douglas and Cobb County. As an Assistant District Attorney, Greg was responsible for the prosecution of hundreds of felony cases. In 2001, Greg was appointed to be Douglas County's first Solicitor General. The Solicitor General and his office is responsible for prosecuting all cases brought before the State Court. Greg was re-elected to this office twice by the citizens of Douglas County. In addition to the Georgia Bar Association, Greg has been admitted to practice law before the Georgia Supreme Court and the Georgia Court of Appeals.
